React or Respond – Managing Your Emotional Machinery
Life continually presents us with situations or stimuli that require our ongoing attention. I am referring to the many unannounced aggravations that upset our controlled daily balance or threaten to tip last minute made plans into the proverbial crevasse.. often these emotionally charged curved balls cannot be ignored ,nor do they allow for great periods of time either for reflection or discussion before requiring urgent action.. reaction or response this my friends is the challenge?
Typically these emotion blocking challenges occur at the most inopportune times seemingly as if pre-arranged by an eagerly awaiting clutch of Gremlin saboteurs or character assassins, who waiting in the shadows pounce on us when we appear most rattled or vulnerable.
These curved balls sneak up on us at work at home ,in the traffic ,on the track or any where in between. They also happen to affect us mentally, physically, financially, emotionally, spiritually and are most damaging when in their negative context hurting our closest and dearest relationships.
