The Mountain legend of Inhlosane – Brett Ellis… truth or folk lore
Local Legend has it that late at night a half man half Baboon roams these hills searching for his soul mate.
Those that knew the original story those that said they can see. Insist on staying indoors on misty nights especially after a full moon. They say the wild one steals young maidens and precious things thro open windows whilst the weary sleep.
The Sangoma`s throw the bones to protect the locals and to predict the next evil event, or to try to gain some useful insight into the behavior of this half man, half Baboon.
On inquiring as to the Authenticity of this legion I some years ago spent a week hiking in these hills speaking to the local tribal headman, seeking to unfold the mystery of the Ghost of Inhlosane .
